Taking it easy!!!

Hi,
Holidays are in full swing in this house, so much so that the house looks like a bomb has exploded and with each passing day it is looking worse for wear. I am not going to stress and moan too much although we seem to be pending lots of visits from different friends so I do have to keep my guard up a bit plus I really hate mess so I can only let it go so much. LOL.

Anyway we are in kick back mode, went to the Dr's this morning mainly for review and check ups then shopping then home and un pack then have a quick clean up, lunch and throw Zay into bed then this arvo we went to a park with a Girlfriend and her kids for a few hours. The sunshine was so good for the soul, the ocean was like a mill pond and the kidlets ran and played and kicked ball and just let loose. Then I flew home and put tea on, ran crazy for 30 mins then out the door to W.W. meeting although I didnt stay tonight, lost .5 kilos so that is pretty good considering the tim tam slams have been a big priority for me these past few weeks. LOL. I am an addict of slams, I lurvvvve them and cant stop at 1 and Coles have them for $1.28 this week so guess what I had in my trolley today. NAUGHTY NAUGHTY GIRL!!! But hey you have to look forward to something in your day.

Well that's about it off to watch singing with the stars final. Go Joelene and David!!! (hope that is how she spells it). Take care and have fun with your kidlets.
Trace.

Hi Trace
Great to hear school holidays going well, we have the sick house at the moment the kids had been well for so long - it was the Pages masses at the Dr's yesterday - Brad, the girls and grandad!! Dakota on her first antibiotics for throat and ears and Mikayla got a slight UTI and Brad well Migranes again he has had enough of the sickness and thinks Perth is the cause. Pregnancy is being good to me (touch wood) I seem to have avoided all the germies so far.
I hope that the holidays are enjoyable
talk soon

Tracey, you have to have a treat for yourself every now and then, but especially during the school holidays.....I have to hide mine so my kids don't find them!
We are leaving the house for the first time today, only because we need food or I think we would all love to just stay at home! Sad really.
Enjoy the mess LOL I am!

Don't let the mess get you down - if you could see mine I'm sure you would feel better :)

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Life is too short to stress! Take each day as it comes and if others can't take you as you are, too bad! Enjoy each moment, and every possible moment with your kids and you will find some days routine has to go out the window, or alteratively have a quick joint effort tidyup before you go out or do something special. It will all be there when you get back.

Yesterday I spent the day with the boys at Freo, visiting the Maritime Museum and the Motor Museum, followed by lunch at McDonalds and the train trip back home. This was all achieved after a sleep in and a quick rally around, helped by both boys to clean and tidy before out the door at 9.30am. They have been helpful during the holidays on the days that I work. Dishes done, beds made, washing hung out, making their own breakfasts/lunches. Even did the dishes after dinner tonight. Shane has his sight on earning pocket money, so has been so good. Not that he needs for much. Generally all expenses paid around this household.

Great to hear your Mum and Dad are off to the US. We have toyed with the idea of going over there but for the amount of time we can spend, the airfares are just too expensive to make it viable.

Take care and enjoy the holidays. We are off to Mandurah on Friday and who knows what is in store for next week.

Happy Birthday to Trin for Monday. Oh to be 6 again.

Love

Sue

Hi Tracey,
Glad you are enjoying the holidays and not stressing about the house. If I stress about my house I would be a raving loony by now- LOL!!! Some things are way more important than housework- scrapping, eating, coffee, kids- (LOL, not necessarily in that order! LOL)
Enjoy :0)
